Have you read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
Personal finance author and lecturer Robert Kiyosaki developed his unique economic perspective from two very different influences – his two fathers. One father (Robert’s real father) was a highly educated man but fiscally poor. The other father was the father of Robert’s best friend – that Dad was an eighth-grade drop-out who became a self-made multi-millionaire. The lifelong monetary problems experienced by his poor dad pounded home the counterpoint communicated by his rich dad. Taking that message to heart, Kiyosaki was able to retire at 47

I gave this book to my son to read when he was in high school. Ten years later he is married and he just bought his first home. Now that in itself is not a big deal. A lot of people get married and buy homes. The cool part is they save up and put a bunch down and their goal is to pay it off in THREE YEARS. How many people do you know that can pay their house off in three years. This is my personal opinion this is what can be accomplished when you read good books and put into practice what you learned from it.
